As the Deputy Room Division Director of our 5-star hotel and resort, you will support the Room Division Director in overseeing the rooms division operations, including housekeeping, and guest services. Your role will involve ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction, managing staff performance, and implementing strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in rooms division operations, with supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations and room division best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Certification in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Room Division Director in developing and implementing strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy.
  2. Oversee the daily operations of the room division & housekeeping department.
  3. Support department managers in achieving and maintaining high cleanliness and service standards in guest rooms and public areas.
  4. Monitor and analyze room revenue, occupancy, and other performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  5. Supervise and provide guidance to department managers and staff to ensure exceptional guest service.
  6. Implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge in room division operations.
  7. Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure guest satisfaction and compliance with industry standards.
  8. Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote room offerings and drive occupancy.
  9. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  10. Support the Room Division Director in budget management, forecasting, and financial reporting.
