Description

As the Deputy General Manager of our 5-star hotel and resort, you will support the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property and maintaining the highest levels of guest satisfaction. Your role will involve collaborating with department heads, supervising staff, and ensuring the smooth functioning of all aspects of the hotel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management, with supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Certification in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities


  • Assist the General Manager in developing and implementing strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless operations across all areas of the property, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to department managers and frontline staff to deliver exceptional service to guests.
  • Monitor guest feedback and work with teams to implement improvements to enhance the guest experience.
  • Support the General Manager in maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure the smooth operation of the property.
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager on budget management, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Assist in marketing and promotional activities to drive occupancy and revenue growth.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner in the absence of the General Manager.
  • Support the General Manager in overseeing the training and development of staff to maintain high standards of service.
