Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience (cont’d)
Minimum 5 years experience in Airside operations
Excellent written & spoken English
Experience of implementing procedures across a number of disciplines
People management experience in a culturally sensitive environment
A thorough understanding of CAA & International regulations, IATA recommended practice, practical ramp handling & ramp equipment, aircraft performance, and dangerous goods regulations.

Responsibilities
Principal Accountabilities
• Manage and develop direct reports to ensure they reach their full potential. • Implement, maintain and monitor regulatory standards while ensuring safety, efficiency & ISO compliance for all airside activities. • Ensure adherence to procedures as per the Airside Ground Operations Manual, IATA, JAL the Operations Training Manual & the Load Control Reference Manual. Update the manuals as regulated and in line with GCC. • Conduct scheduled and non-scheduled audits of Airside facilities to monitor adherence to & effectiveness of processes. • Attend meetings with regulatory bodies as required to ensure the facilities are operating legally and safely, within Bahrain. • Liaise with third party operators on all matters of ground handling practice & load control to ensure compliance with their regulatory authority. • Ensure daily route planning is compliant with known ability to handle aircraft types according to commercial management requirements & NCG planning. • Ensure airside equipment is available, used correctly and is well maintained.
